Be an Advocate for Adult Learning

Would you like to help an adult student pursuing an undergraduate degree at IU Bloomington?

Or perhaps underwrite a Lifelong Learning course for community residents, or sponsor a talented individual for our Leadership Bloomington-Monroe County program?

With your generous contribution we can help adult students achieve their educational goals. Here are some ways you can make a difference:

Scholarships for General Studies Degree students:

Many older students must work full-time and support families, so funds to complete college degrees are often scarce. In addition, there are fewer financial aid sources for mature students. Many adult students enroll on a part-time basis and therefore take longer to graduate; your contribution can help them achieve their dreams sooner.

Support for a Lifelong Learning course:

Give the gift of knowledge. Our Lifelong Learning courses in the arts, humanities, sciences, literature, current events and career skills are offered for local residents at community and campus locations. Your gift will allow us to reduce tuition, making the course accessible to larger numbers of adults.

Scholarships for Leadership Bloomington- Monroe County:

Invest in the future of your community. Help a local adult with leadership potential participate in Leadership Bloomington-Monroe County, an eight-month program designed to prepare community residents for leadership positions in the community and workplace.
