Degree Requirements
The Bachelor in General Studies degree is an interdisciplinary degree program. You develop a plan of study that encompasses three areas of learning:
- Arts & Humanities
- Science & Mathematics
- Social & Behavioral Sciences
In addition, you select electives that meet your needs and interests. You may also earn a certificate in career fields such as Business, Informatics, Public Management, or Environmental Studies while pursuing your degree, and choose from dozens of minors like Human Resources, Sociology, Criminal Justice, and many others. An academic advisor experienced in working with General Studies students will help you plan a program that addresses your career and personal goals.
